Manning Track Upgrade & Realignment

Due to existing grade integrity deficiencies, rail traffic was rerouted to a more stable alignment. New mainline track was constructed, followed by lineover and surfacing operations to complete the transition.

Scope of Work:

• Construct approximately 3,200 TF of new mainline track
• Realign existing mainline track to connect to new alignment
• Place and regulate ballast on new and realigned track
• Perform rail destressing
• Surface track to final design geometry
• Dismantle approximately 3,200 TF of existing mainline track
